Cannabis concentrate of Cannabidiol (CBD)
Research shows that CBD plays a significant role in nearly every aspect of the medical benefits of the cannabis plant, and has a variety of healing properties. CBD has been found to have strong anti-carcinogenic, anti-inflammatory and anti-convulsive properties, and is not a psychoactive cannabinoid-like THC. Studies are also showing CBD as a safe and effective antimicrobial molecule when battling bacterial infections like MRSA, Clostridium difficile colitis and others. In a time when bacteria are becoming increasingly resistant to pharmaceutical antibiotics, CBD is an opportunity for healing that has still not been fully explored. Some research indicates that CBD could even act as a neuroprotective agent, and suggests CBD may reduce anxiety in social anxiety disorder and have antidepressant effects for those who are depressed.
CBD oil influences the body to utilise more of its naturally occurring endocannabinoids (receptors) that are already existing in the body.
It enhances the receptor's ability, allowing our body to more effectively use what is already existing, instead of adding more of a chemical to have an effect, CBD oil makes the receptors more active and in turn, the body is able to use what is already available more effectively.
Pharmaceutical drugs work at the level of the symptoms, not the systems… which causes enormous strain on the physiology.
CBD oil works at the homeostatic system, the system of balance “Nexus of balance”. Where balance is maintained and established.
Nervous system - Neurotransmitters
- Up-regulated – inhibition via GABA
- Down-regulates – excitation via Glutamate
Immune system - Cytokins
- Up-regulates Anti-inflammation bio-chemicals
- Down-regulates inflammatory biochemicals
Endocrine system – Hormones
- Catabolic - break-down
- Anabolic – Build-up
Vanilloid receptors – effect body tempter and immune function
Adenosine receptors – the activation of adenosine receptors by CBD gives the anti-anxiety and anti-inflammatory effects of cannabidiol. Adenosine relaxes, CBD oil increases the activity of the Adenosine receptors creating the calming effect
Serotonin receptors – CBD oil creates more serotonin and uses serotonin more efficiently
Dopamine receptors – increase in cognition, motor control, motivation and reward mechanisms. Feeling better. CBD doesn’t give you dopamine it improves the effectiveness of the receptors that relate to dopamine. We are naturally increasing the body’s utilisation of already existing dopamine by enhancing the sensitivity of the receptor
Glutamate is one of the major mediators of excitatory signals, being involved in memory, learning and cognition. Glutamate triggers energy, CBD oil controls the level of release in the brain, so you are mentally focused while feeling calm
We make our own cannabidiol in our body
Anandamide – called the bliss molecule – which we make when we are meditating
Toxins – which cause the problems
Herbicides, Insecticides, heavy metals
Chronic biological infections:
Bacteria, Viruses, Fungus and Molds
Inflammatory diet / leaky gut
Cause – what the causes cause in the body
- Autoimmune diseases
- Rheumatoid arthritis / IBD / Lupus / Thyroid
- Fibromyalgia / MS
- Skin / psoriasis / eczema
- Chronic infections
Central nervous system - Brain Inflammation
- Brain fog / migraine / epilepsy
- Anxiety / PTSD
- ADD / ADHD / Autism
